Independently of this, Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 applies in the European Union. Its Article 18 bans animal testing of cosmetic products and their ingredients in the EU to meet the requirements of the Regulation. Store Christina products at room temperature (15–25°C), away from direct sunlight and heat sources. After opening, the product retains its full efficacy for the period marked with the PAO symbol (e.g. 12M = 12 months) on the packaging. Products with active vitamins (C, retinol) should be stored away from light.
