ILLUSTRIOUS is an advanced brightening system designed to work with hormonal, sun-induced, post-inflammatory, and age-related hyperpigmentation. The line simultaneously acts on four melanin control pathways: it inhibits tyrosinase activity, blocks melanosome transfer from melanocytes to keratinocytes, absorbs excess pigment from the upper layers of the epidermis, and degrades existing melanin.

At the core of the formulas are Whitening Peptide (oligopeptide 68), Alga White (Ascophyllum nodosum), curcumin extract (0.25% efficacy comparable to 4% hydroquinone, without adverse effects), niacinamide, vitamin C complex, and Carbon C Oxide with mineral nahcolite. The line is safe for all phototypes, light in texture, free of parabens, petrolatum, propylene glycol, SLS, and (with the exception of Absolute Bright) silicones. The brightening effect is visible from the first application and intensifies over time.
