Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (known as Argireline) is a synthetic hexapeptide designed as a biotechnological alternative to botulinum toxin — without medical intervention. It works by inhibiting the release of neurotransmitters responsible for the contraction of expression muscles, thereby reducing dynamic wrinkles (crow's feet, frown lines, forehead lines). Unlike Botox, it does not paralyse the muscles but subtly limits their reactivity, which makes the effect natural and free of the risk of a frozen "mask". Clinical studies have proven a reduction in wrinkle depth of up to 30% after 30 days of regular use.
