Calming sensitive skin during pregnancy with flaking and hyperreactivity symptoms
Indications
Flaking, irritation, intermittent redness and inflammation, pigmentation, excessive skin oiliness during the day, and a sensation of tightness when washing.
Case description
A client in her 20th week of pregnancy reported a chronic tendency for skin flaking and irritation, present since childhood. The therapy aimed to support the hydrolipid barrier, reduce visible flakes, improve skin comfort, and select safe, gentle home care. The protocol was based on a delicate approach, without massage steps.
Treatment protocol
- A series of 5 Unstress treatments performed every 7-14 days.
- The protocol was conducted in a calming mode, without massage steps.
- The priority was to soothe the skin, support the barrier, and reduce epidermal reactivity.
- Skin tolerance was observed throughout the series.
Home care
- Unstress Gentle Cleansing Milk morning and evening.
- Line Repair Nutrient Bakuchiol Day Cream SPF 15 in the morning.
- Line Repair Nutrient Niacinamide Night Cream in the evening.
- Washing face exclusively with bottled water.
Effect
After a series of treatments and regular home care, the skin was clearer, more even, and more comfortable. Visible flaking subsided, there was no longer a sensation of tightness during washing, and skin oiliness during the day was minimal.
