Do you feel a change in humidity?

Skin reacts to changes in weather immediately – many of us experience feelings of tightness, stinging, or itching. However, it is important to distinguish dry skin from dehydrated skin.

Dry vs. Dehydrated

Dry skin – caused by genetics or aging. Lipid deficiency. A chronic condition all year round.

Dehydrated skin – lack of moisture in the air and water deficiency in the body. Reversible condition. Symptoms: itching, redness, cracking.

Cleansing Dehydrated Skin

Frequent washing with hot water and acidic soaps worsens the condition. Choose a milk cleanser that cleanses and moisturizes. Alcohol-free toner twice a week.

Daytime Care

Start with a serum with a high concentration of active ingredients. Follow with a day cream containing peptides, ceramides, fatty acids, hyaluronic acid. SPF is essential!

Nighttime Care

Night cream with gentle active ingredients. Especially in winter – pay attention to the eye area and neck!

What to do?

  • Drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water
  • Quit smoking – it damages blood vessels
  • Avoid air conditioning that dries out the air
