What does stress do to the skin?

Under stress, cortisol levels increase. Consequences for the skin:

  • Wrinkles and loss of firmness — cortisol breaks down collagen
  • Inflammation and erythema — weakened skin barrier
  • Dryness and dehydration — less natural lipids
  • Acne and blackheads — overproduction of sebum
  • Dull complexion — restricted circulation
  • Pigmentation spots — stimulated melanocytes

Christina Unstress Line

The Unstress Line works on 3 fronts:

  1. Strengthens the barrier — ceramides, fatty acids, lipids
  2. Neutralizes free radicals — vitamin C, E, polyphenols
  3. Soothes — chamomile, bisabolol, oat extract

Daily anti-stress routine

Morning: gentle cleansing gel → alcohol-free tonic → antioxidant serum → SPF 30+ day cream with soothing ingredients

Evening: cleansing milk → tonic → peptide serum → lipid-rich night cream

Holistic approach

  • Minimum 7 hours of sleep — regeneration
  • 8 glasses of water daily
  • Physical activity — reduces cortisol
  • 10 minutes of meditation daily
  • Limit coffee and sugar
