Sensitive skin with couperose: soothing and prevention of redness

Patient: woman, approx. 30 years oldTherapy duration: several weeks, 3–4 treatmentsMain line: Unstress

Indications

Sensitive, reactive skin with a tendency to couperose: occasional redness, burning sensation and irritation worsening after temperature changes.

Case description

The plan was structured in stages: first, a gentle introduction of the skin to the therapy and reduction of reactivity, then work on balance and visual soothing of the complexion, and finally a treatment to strengthen the skin's condition. For sensitive skin with couperose, it is crucial to avoid excessive stimulation and consistent home care.

Treatment protocol

  1. Unstress introductory treatment aimed at soothing, comfort and supporting the skin's protective barrier.
  2. Two Bio Phyto treatments selected as a balancing and soothing stage for skin prone to redness.
  3. Classic Forever Young treatment as a stage to strengthen the skin's condition and support its more even, rested appearance.
  4. Parameters and intensity of work were adjusted to the skin's current reactivity during each visit.

Home care

  • Fresh Pure & Natural Cleanser — gentle cleansing without disturbing skin comfort.
  • Bio Phyto Balancing Cream — supports skin balance and daily care for sensitive skin.
  • Unstress Quick Performance Calming Cream — soothing cream used for redness, burning and discomfort.

Effect

After the series, the skin looked calmer and was more tolerant of daily stimuli, such as temperature changes. The burning sensation and episodes of irritation decreased, and the complexion gained a more even, comfortable appearance.

Specialist's recommendation: It is recommended to continue soothing and strengthening care and maintenance treatments selected according to the season and current skin reactivity. For skin with couperose, it is advisable to avoid sudden temperature changes, aggressive cleansing and accidental irritants.
