Post-pregnancy pigmentation and smoker's skin — Illustrious treatment
Indications
Dry and dehydrated skin, smoker's skin, hyperpigmentation around the eyes and forehead, dark circles, sagging of the lower third of the face, and fine lines. Pigmentation appeared after the second pregnancy and intensified with sun exposure.
Case Description
A case of mature skin, burdened by many years of smoking and photosensitive hyperpigmentation. The goal of the treatment was to improve hydration, soothe and enhance skin comfort, brighten areas with uneven tone, and smooth fine lines without overly aggressive action.
Treatment Protocol
- Treatments performed once every 7 days for 4 weeks.
- Muse — a stage supporting skin comfort, freshness, and softness of the epidermis.
- Rose de Mer peel — controlled exfoliation supporting skin surface renewal and improving its texture.
- Unstress — a calming, hydrating, and skin barrier-strengthening stage.
- Illustrious — the main stage focused on the visibility of pigmentation, uneven tone, and brightening effect.
Home Care
- Line Repair Glow Moisturizing Micellar Milk — gentle cleansing.
- Line Repair Nutrient Superfood Aqua Mist — refreshing and hydrating throughout the day.
- Illustrious Serum — care focused on uneven skin tone.
- Illustrious Day Cream SPF 50 — daily sun protection.

Effect
Already after the first treatment, the skin was noticeably better hydrated, fine lines appeared smoother, and pigmentation around the eyes and forehead was less visible. The effect was assessed as an early improvement in comfort, radiance, and evenness of skin tone.
