Reactive skin with erythema and itching — 2 months of Unstress therapy

Patient: Female, 57 years oldTreatment duration: 2 monthsMain line: Unstress

Indications

Highly reactive skin, responding with redness to minimal stimuli such as stress, temperature changes, or diet. Visible confluent, intensely red patches on the cheeks, forehead, nose, eyebrows, chin, and earlobes, enlarged pores, localized patches, scales, and cracks, as well as itching. History includes a long-standing tendency to recurrence and a diagnosis of seborrheic dermatitis.

Case description

The plan was based on the Unstress line as a therapy supporting the skin's protective barrier and reducing the visibility of reactivity. Due to the chronic, recurrent nature of the problem, in-clinic care was conducted in parallel with therapy recommended by a specialist. The goal was to soothe the skin, improve comfort, unify skin tone, and maintain a stable state of the epidermal barrier.

Treatment protocol

  1. Three Unstress treatments were performed over 2 months as maintenance therapy for sensitive and reactive skin.
  2. The in-clinic protocol focused on alleviating discomfort, supporting the balance of the skin barrier, and improving skin tolerance to stimuli.
  3. Concurrently, external pharmacological therapy recommended by a specialist was used: vitamin A, vitamin E, zinc, and sebo-suppressive ingredients.
  4. As part of specialist recommendations, a medication with an anxiolytic, sedative, and antihistamine effect was also included.

Home care

  • Unstress Gentle Cleansing Milk — morning and evening for gentle cleansing without disturbing the skin barrier.
  • Unstress Probiotic Day Cream SPF 15 — morning, as a protective cream supporting the skin microbiome.
  • Unstress Harmonizing Night Cream — evening, to soothe and regenerate the skin during nighttime renewal.

Effect

After the first Unstress treatment, a significant calming of skin sensitivity, redness, and itching was observed. Subsequent visits were of a maintenance nature. During the observation period, stable remission of symptoms, a more unified skin tone, smoother texture, and a healthier, radiant skin appearance were achieved.

Specialist recommendation: For reactive and recurrent skin, it is crucial to combine gentle barrier care with regular specialist supervision. Continuation of the Unstress protocol at a maintenance pace, avoidance of known triggers, and consistent home care without aggressive exfoliating and irritating ingredients are recommended.
