TREATMENT EFFECT · INFLAMMATORY ACNE, SEBORRHEA AND COMEDONES

Inflammatory acne with erythema, seborrhea and comedones

Patient: female, 18 years oldTreatment duration: multi-month program: Comodex, Rose de Mer and UnstressMain line: Comodex

Indications

Scattered papules and pustules, erythema, seborrhea, open and closed comedones, and individual post-acne marks.

Case description

The patient had been struggling with acne since around the age of 16. Previous, overly aggressive cleansing intensified the discomfort and worsened the skin's barrier condition.

Treatment protocol

  1. Comodex – 5 treatments: 3 treatments weekly, then 2 treatments every 2–3 weeks.
  2. Rose de Mer Peel EPI-2 – 4 treatments performed once a month.
  3. Unstress – 4 treatments, performed a week after the peel to soothe and support the barrier.

Home care

  • Bio Phyto Mild Facial Cleanser – twice a day.
  • Unstress Stabilizing Toner – in the morning.
  • Fresh Purifying Toner for oily skin – in the evening.
  • Comodex Renew & Repair Night – in the evening.

Effect

A clear calming of deep inflammatory lesions and erythema was achieved. The skin was less oily, the tone became more even, and the visibility of post-acne marks was reduced.

Specialist's recommendation: It is advisable to continue gentle cleansing, regular sebum-regulating Comodex care, and maintenance treatments, especially with a tendency for inflammatory lesions to recur.
