Papulopustular acne 40+ and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation

Indications

Mature skin with intensified acne lesions after treatments using a dermaroller. Visible blackheads, pustules, local inflammation, hyperkeratosis, as well as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and marks requiring simultaneous regulation, brightening, and restoration of skin comfort.

Case description

The patient presented with active papulopustular eruptions, blackheads, stagnant post-inflammatory marks, and uneven skin texture. The changes intensified after previous procedures using a dermaroller. The therapy plan was based on gradually reducing inflammation, regulating keratinization, working with hyperpigmentation, and safely smoothing the skin surface.

Treatment protocol

1. Comodex — 4 treatments every 3 weeks to regulate problematic skin.
2. Illustrious — 2 treatments every 2 weeks to even out skin tone and work with hyperpigmentation.
3. Rose de Mer — peeling one week after Illustrious to support epidermal renewal.

Effect

After 6 months, a significant calming of the skin was achieved: only single inflammatory lesions remained, skin tone was evened out, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation was reduced, and the skin surface became smoother. Optical smoothing of acne scars was also visible. The client continues maintenance therapy every 3 weeks.
