Correction of acne and post-acne lesions on sensitive skin

Indications

Recurrent acne after isotretinoin therapy, open and closed comedones, scars and post-inflammatory spots, uneven skin tone, skin hypersensitivity.

Case description

The therapy was planned for young skin with recurrent acne after previous pharmacological treatment. The priority was to simultaneously reduce active breakouts, cleanse pores, soothe hyperreactivity, and gradually work on post-acne lesions.

Treatment protocol

1. Unstress — 2 treatments every 2 weeks, to soothe reactivity.
2. Comodex — 2 treatments every 2 weeks, aimed at regulating acne-prone skin.
3. Bio Phyto — 2 treatments every 3 weeks, for refreshment and regeneration support.
4. Comodex with cleansing — 2 treatments every 3 weeks, for working with comedones.
5. Comodex + Rose de Mer peeling — 2 treatments every 3 weeks.
6. Illustrious — 1 treatment supporting skin tone equalization and reduction of post-inflammatory spots.
7. Bio Phyto — 2 treatments every 2 weeks, as a regenerating and normalizing stage.
8. Rose de Mer peeling — 1 treatment for further skin surface remodelling.
9. Unstress — 1 final treatment, aimed at soothing and stabilizing the barrier.

Home care

• A full, regular home routine tailored to acne-prone and sensitive skin was implemented.
• Care included gentle cleansing, support for the hydrolipidic barrier, imperfection control, and daily skin protection.
• Dietary modification was introduced: replacing cow's milk with plant-based beverages.

Effect

After 9 months, a visible reduction in active breakouts, decreased comedones and stagnant spots, improved skin tone, and increased skin resistance to irritation were achieved. The effect was obtained without returning to tablets and pharmaceuticals.
