Correction of active acne and oily skin

Patient: Female, 24 years oldTreatment duration: 5 monthsMain line: Comodex

Indications

Active form of acne, oily and simultaneously sensitive skin, open and closed comedones, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and acne scars. The exacerbation of lesions appeared after rapid weight loss, with no sustained improvement despite prior cosmetology and dermatology consultations.

Case description

The patient presented with active acne lesions on her face and dysregulated sebaceous glands. The skin was reactive, with uneven texture, visible pores, comedones, and post-inflammatory marks. A key element of the therapy was to organize her home care routine, which had previously been chaotic and based on many randomly chosen brands.

Treatment protocol

  1. Comodex — 3 treatments performed every 3 weeks, aimed at oily skin, imperfections, comedones, and normalizing sebaceous gland function.
  2. Bio Phyto — 2 treatments performed every 2 weeks, supporting skin balance, freshness, and improving comfort with a tendency to imperfections.
  3. Unstress — 2 treatments performed every 2 weeks, included to calm sensitivity, reduce reactivity, and support the skin barrier.

Home care

  • Line Repair Hydra AHA-BHA Active Cleanser
  • Unstress Stabilizing Toner
  • Bio Phyto Balancing Cream
  • Bio Phyto Normalizing Night Cream
  • Comodex Renew & Repair Night Treatment

Effect

The first positive changes were visible after the initial stage of therapy. Within 5 months, a significant reduction in inflammation, decreased sensitivity, smoother skin texture, a healthier glow, and better sebum control were achieved. Pores became less visible, and the skin appeared calmer and more even.

Specialist recommendation: Continued organized home care and regular skin check-ups at the clinic are recommended. In the next stage, a Rose de Mer treatment is planned, tailored to the current skin condition and needs related to texture and post-inflammatory marks.
