Stężenie 2-5% (peptide matrices)

Firming Peptide is an advanced cosmetic signal peptide that stimulates skin fibroblasts to produce type I and III collagen fibres and elastin. It works by activating the cell receptors responsible for synthesising the extracellular matrix — the scaffolding that keeps skin firm and taut. After 4-6 weeks of regular use it visibly improves facial contour, lifts the cheeks and redefines the jawline, reducing tissue sagging. The skin gains greater density, elasticity and resistance to gravity, while fine lines are smoothed from within. An ideal ingredient in anti-ageing care for mature skin showing signs of lost firmness, particularly after the age of 40.

Tranexamic acid is a synthetic analogue of the amino acid lysine, originally used in medicine as a drug to inhibit bleeding, which has found a breakthrough application in aesthetic dermatology. It works by inhibiting the plasminogen pathway in melanocytes, which is responsible for melanin overproduction after UV exposure. It effectively reduces melasma, chloasma (pregnancy-related discolouration), hormonal and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) — often where other brightening ingredients fail. It also acts anti-inflammatorily, so it works well in caring for skin with broken capillaries and a tendency to redness. Recommended for skin with hard-to-treat discolouration — a key active ingredient in Christina's Illustrious line.

You can also combine products from different lines (e.g. a Forever Young serum + a Muse cream). One exception: introduce retinoid and AHA/BHA products gradually and do not apply them on the same evening — this may irritate the skin. Always use a sunscreen the next morning. How should I store the product after opening?
Store Christina products at room temperature (15–25°C), away from direct sunlight and heat sources. After opening, the product retains its full efficacy for the period marked with the PAO symbol (e.g. 12M = 12 months) on the packaging. Products with active vitamins (C, retinol) should be stored away from light.
