Broad-spectrum SPF 30 protection is a combination of next-generation UV filters — both chemical (organic) and mineral — providing effective defense against UVA and UVB radiation. UVB filters protect against sunburn and erythema, while UVA penetrates deeper and is responsible for photoaging, hyperpigmentation, and loss of firmness. An SPF 30 factor blocks about 97% of UVB radiation and is recommended for daily care in urban conditions. Using SPF products is the foundation of preventing premature skin aging, melanoma, and pigmentation changes. Diacetyl Boldine is a synthetic active ingredient derived from boldo tree (Peumus boldus) extracts, with strong brightening and antioxidant action. It works by selectively inhibiting tyrosinase — the enzyme responsible for melanin synthesis in melanocytes — without the cytotoxic effect seen with hydroquinone. It effectively reduces sun spots, melasma, age spots and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). One exception: introduce retinoid and AHA/BHA products gradually and do not apply them on the same evening — this may irritate the skin. Always use a sunscreen the next morning. Store Christina products at room temperature (15–25°C), away from direct sunlight and heat sources. After opening, the product retains its full efficacy for the period marked with the PAO symbol (e.g. 12M = 12 months) on the packaging. Products with active vitamins (C, retinol) should be stored away from light.
